I am headed to the Midwest tomorrow to celebrate a family wedding. All packed and ready to go. I fly to Namibia one day from today. Stay tuned...I will post more very soon. I hope that all of you are enjoying summer. :)
It's an fabulous thing your are doing -- in fact, I'm a bit jealous. We spent a week in Namibia after visiting our daughter in Rwanda. Nothing like going from the most densely populated country in Africa to the least densely. What the Germans did to the locals was horrific, and that was before Hitler. Of course, the Turks tried to annialate the Armenians and got aways with it. To this day they just say the Armenians were just casualties of war. On a cherrier note, the Germans did leave some positive things behind. If you want a good cup of coffee and some German-style pastry, check out Cafe Zoo or Zoo Cafe. Yummy. I look forward to following your blog.
